TechNiche, LLC Computer Support and the Learning Barn Training & Tutorials are created by Joanna Loops. That's me. Hello!  I have a background in all things computers - graphic design, information development, technical writing, web design, marketing, and of course... training. I completed my first years of College without a computer. So I have witnessed the creation, take-off, and absolute phenomenon that is the personal home computer, and now, the Internet. Today, the Internet is nearly a requirement - to contact local business, to purchase products. And can be of extreme value in researching health topics, the wealth of information on art and humanities, shopping, genealogy, whatever have you! So, there is increased pressure to be on the Internet... yet there are no manuals teaching you HOW to use this technology. And unless you are about 25 or younger, you haven't grown up with this - the computers, the vocabulary, the world that is the Internet. It can be scary and intimidating. But Also Super Fun! You just have to get past that scary and realize... You Can Do This! That's where I come in. To help get you through this transition. I recently completed my Masters in Adult Education & Training, with my thesis on Computer Literacy for Older Adults. This is my passion, not just my niche!
